(May 22, 2023) — The senior van is a service provided and funded by the Town of Haddam for seniors 60+ or disabled individuals. The van operates Monday through Thursday. The service is available for any location within the greater Middlesex area. The van maybe used for doctor appointments, physical therapy or any other medical appointments. You must call to arrange pick-up, at least the day before.
In addition, the van travels to Walmart in Cromwell on Tuesday mornings for an hour of shopping. Seniors can request to be picked up at their home. Departure time may vary, depending on the number of pick-ups, or if the van is needed later for a medical visit.
