By Tammy Eustis, Assistant Director

Gloria Nilsson’s “Small Works & Little Gems” in Killingworth Library’s Display Case

Fine artist Gloria Nilsson’s “Small Works & Little Gems” will be exhibited at the Killingworth Library throughout the month of November. Gloria passionately hand paints each one of her scarves and creates each piece of jewelry and fine art with love and passion. A portion of all sales from the November case will go to benefit the Killingworth Library.

Please contact Gloria Nilsson at 203-410-5043 or www.gznilsson.com for purchase information, or to learn more about her workshops.

Saturday Storytimes Continue at Killingworth Library

Cold winter weather is fast approaching, and we know both parents and children are eager to keep in touch with the new friends they’ve made at our outdoor sessions, so in November our Saturday Storytimes will transform into live group readalongs via Zoom! Participants check out the featured book and Take-and-Make Craft from the library, then tune in at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday for a read-along, crafting fun, and a chance to say “Hi” to their friends! Books and supplies are limited, so please register in advance on the Calendar page on the library’s website – killingworthlibrary.org – or call the library at 860-663-2000. Our November sessions:

11/06/21 – Sheep in a Jeep by Nancy Shaw

11/13/21 – Peek-a-Who? by Nina Laden

11/20/21 – Bear Says Thanks by Karma Wilson
