(July 13, 2022) — We want to hear from you! Connecticut DOT wants to hear about your transit experience to inform the development of the first ever Customer Experience (CX) Action Plan that will clearly outline future programs, policies, and priority investments to improve your transit trip.

ParkConneCT is back with free bus service to Hammonasset State Park on a new schedule. Enjoy the largest beach in Connecticut for FREE this summer with easy access from Clinton, Madison, Middletown, Killingworth and Haddam!

  • Route 645 Saturdays from the Middletown bus terminal via Haddam, Killingworth and Clinton to Clinton Crossing Outlets and the park.
  • The Clinton Trolley Thursday through Sundays and holidays, connecting Clinton landmarks such as the Clinton town docks, Lobster Landing, the arts district and the east end restaurants to the park.
  • The Madison Shuttle Saturdays, Sundays and holidays between the Madison park and ride lot, Madison Train Station and downtown Madison to the park.

Schedules are now available at www.estuarytransit.org/parkconnect.

Free fares have been extended through November 30, 2022. This includes 9 Town Transit and Middletown Area Transit fixed routes, XtraMile, Dial-A-Ride, ADA Paratransit and deviated-fixed routes.
