Haddam Municipal Election Info for 11/2/21

 

Haddam’s next voting session is the “Haddam Municipal Election” on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.  Haddam voters will vote for First Selectman, Selectman, Town Clerk, Board of Finance,  Board of Education, Board of Assessment Appeals, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Zoning Board of Appeals.

To register to vote:  The Registrars’ Office is open on Wednesdays 9:00am to 1:00pm or register at Haddam Town Hall, Town Clerks office (see Town Hall hours below).  You may also request the Registrar of Voters or Town Clerk to send you a mail-in voter registration form, or register online at haddam.org/registrar-voters .   

The polls are open from 6:00am to 8:00pm.  The three polling places are:

Registration Sessions and Deadlines:

October 26, 2021 9:00am – 8:00pm – All day registration and in-person cut-off to register for the November 2nd  “Municipal Election” – Cut off is 8:00pm for in-person, online (a DMV license is required) and mail-in registration (must be postmarked by October 26, 2021).

 

November 1, 2021 – 9:00am – 5:00pm – Limited Registration Session to admit those seeking to vote in election whose qualification as to age, citizenship or residence was attained since October 26, 2021

NOTE:  ELECTION DAY REGISTRATION

Individuals may register and vote in person on Election Day if they meet the eligibility requirements for voting in this state and are (1) not already an elector or (2) registered in one municipality but want to change their registration because they currently reside in another municipality.  By law, a person is eligible to register and vote if they are (1) a U.S. citizen, (2) age 18 or older, and (3) a bona fide resident of the municipality in which they apply for admission as an elector.

Hours:  6:00am to 8:00pm on Election Day, November 2, 2021

 

The Registrar of Voters STRONGLY urge Haddam residents who are not registered to vote, to register as early as possible before November 2, 2021.  Also, please visit our web-site – haddam.org/registrar-voters – for election information and forms.  A copy of the ballot will also be on our web-site.

 

Absentee ballot applications will be available on October 1, 2021 at:
