Many voters were not properly registered casting further doubt on the integrity of
election day registrations
March 30, 2021 – Fight Voter Fraud, Inc. – Ongoing analysis of the November 3, 2020 election voter data has uncovered evidence that suggests that the surge of new voter registrations on election day may have overwhelmed polling precincts. Voter registration data for the election on November 3, 2020 indicates that 28% of the EDR voters where not fully registered when they voted on election day, raising more questions about how voters could have been fully vetted and verified before casting votes.
“Voting in Connecticut legally requires voters to present valid IDs, confirm citizenship and legal age, are not registered to vote in other towns or states and are not a felon”, said Linda Szynkowicz, Founder and CEO of Fight Voter Fraud Inc. “One has to question whether election officials busy overseeing election day activities had the time to ensure our State’s voting requirements were properly complied with before a vote is cast, nearly 1/3 of the voters who registered on election day were not fully registered when they voted.”
Data shows that 20,579 individuals voted on Election Day, presumably as Election Day Registrants (EDR). Our analysis shows 14,837 voters were formally registered while 5,742 voters were not registered in Connecticut for days, weeks, or months after voting (See chart below). The processing and vetting of Election Day Registrants must comply with all the voter eligibility requirements (See criteria for eligibility to vote in Connecticut).
“This discovery clearly begs the question as to how thoroughly any EDR voter could have been properly vetted before their vote counted on election day, said Dominic Rapini, Board Chair Fight Voter Fraud, Inc. With 338 Registrar of Voters, many of whom are part time, across 169 towns, it is a reasonable conclusion that the State’s voting integrity needs to be thoroughly reviewed and improved. As it stands now, the Connecticut EDR program cannot be secure without either modifying the program or providing more help to bolster the bandwidth of our veteran Registrars so that every voter meets the State’s eligibility criteria.
As Connecticut lawmakers continue to propose more labor-intensive programs such as Early Voting, Voting Centers, and no-excuse mail in voting, it is clear these new programs will only make the current situation worse. There is no reason voting integrity should take a back seat when it is the foundational block of a citizen’s trust in our elections.
