Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Hosts Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

(June 22, 2022) — Chairwoman Maureen Westbrook of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce announced that the Chamber will host two Sexual Harassment Prevention Training sessions on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 as part of its Key Bank Workshop Series. The first session will begin at 8:00 a.m., and the second session at 10:30 a.m. The training sessions will take place at the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, 393 Main Street in Middletown, or via Zoom.

The definition of sexual harassment, liability (your own and your organization’s), and the prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace will be discussed. Attorneys from the law firm Jackson Lewis, P.C. will show you how to limit your company’s exposure to charges of sexual harassment.

This session meets the State of Connecticut’s requirement for two hours of sexual harassment training for businesses that have three or more employees. Cost is $30 for Chamber Members, and $40 Non-Chamber Members.

Please arrive on time.  Two hours mandatory attendance is required to receive certificate.
