I would like to express my sincere thanks to the people of Haddam for giving me the privilege of serving on the RSD 17 Board of Education for the past six years. It is an experience I will treasure. The work is important and sometimes difficult, but I welcomed the opportunity to commit to doing our best for the students and families of Haddam and Killingworth.
The new Board members from both towns have my best wishes for success, as do those currently serving. There are challenges ahead, but with a spirit of dedication and cooperation, this Board can meet them.
I am grateful to my fellow Board members, our Superintendent and Central Office, and to our teachers, administrators and staff for working hard every day on behalf of District 17.
I regret that I won’t be able to continue to work with them, but have every confidence in their commitment to our schools and our students. Thank you.
