The Haddam Civic League is the 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that publishes Haddam Killingworth News and gives scholarships to high school seniors who have an interest in communication and media. It is the support of our advertisers, and of our readers who make tax-deductible contributions to the paper, that make it possible to publish our community newspaper every Thursday and provide these scholarships.  We encourage our readers to shop local and support those businesses that advertise with us. To make a tax-deductible contribution in support of the paper, write a check to HCL and send it to P.O.
