Letter to the Editor: Leo Bombalicki, Candidate for Killingworth Board of Finance

We reached out to both the Killingworth Republican Town Committee and the Killingworth Democratic Town Committee and asked candidates to respond to a set of questions. Updates from all candidates are welcome, and are being published as Letters to the Editor. Leo Bombalicki is a candidate for Killingworth Board of Finance. I am a 20 year resident of Killingworth, CT.  I attended University of New Haven graduating with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice administration.  I was employed by the City of New Haven at the New Haven Police Department where I rose to the rank of Captain and served for 33 years.  During my tenure as an ranking officer I held the positions of District Manager, Lieutenant of extra duty, Captain of Emergency Management, SWAT, and the Bomb Squad.  I attended the US Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Army Ordinance munitions & Electronic Maintenance School, Executive Management, Connecticut States Attorney School for Search and Seizure and a former Yale Child Study Fellow.  Currently owner of Shoreline Firearms instruction LLC and work as an armed security service officer.
Enjoying the bucolic life here in Killingworth with my high school sweetheart and we have three grown children and three grandchildren.
My vision for Killingworth is a balanced budget without a tax increase and to regulate spending  in these difficult times.
