Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident at 5:15 p.m. on June 28, 2020 on Killingworth Road. A driver, heading northbound, lost control of his vehicle, struck a wooden Haddam town line sign, and drove through brush before stopping.
Two occupants were evaluated on scene and refused additional medical treatment.
Firefighters closed one lane of traffic during the incident and worked to clear brush from the vehicle. Crews also applied absorbent material where the vehicle had leaked fluids onto the road.
Connecticut State Police are investigating.
