On June 4, 2020 at approximately 12:06 p.m., Troopers responded to the Higganum Town Green after witnessing a female kicking the Town of Haddam Veteran’s Memorial Statue. Several concerned bystanders also witnessed the female’s actions.
Investigation at the scene determined that the memorial and surrounding area did not sustain any damage during this incident. The accused was identified and charged with being in violation of C.G.S. 53a-181a: Creating a Public Disturbance.
