(April 7, 2023) — Governor Lamont’s administration will award Neglected Cemetery Account Grant Program funds to Haddam for the improvement and maintenance of cemeteries that may need work or have seen neglect. The town will receive $5,000; the funds can be used to support basic cemetery maintenance, including clearing weeds, briars and bushes; mowing grounds; repairing fences or walls; and straightening, repairing and restoring memorial stones.
