Haddam Storm Drains to be Treated with Larvicide July 21-23, 2021

From Town of Haddam.

(July 21, 2021) In partnership with the Connecticut River Area Health District (CRAHD) the Town of Haddam will be treating all storm drains with a larvicide. This will help control the mosquito populations and reduce the risks of EEE and other vector-borne viruses.

Larvicides are products to help control mosquitoes outside your home. They work by killing mosquito larvae and pupae before they can grow into biting adults. When used according to product label instructions, larvicides do not harm people, pets, or the environment.

The Mosquito Contractors will be applying treatment from Wednesday, July 21, 2021 – to Friday, July 23, 2021.  Our Resident Troopers will be notified.
