(November 3, 2023) — Haddam Social Services would like to give a huge thank-you to St. Peter-Higganum Knights Of Columbus Council #14590 for their generous donation of $500 toward Thanksgiving turkeys.

Every year the Haddam Food Bank donates dozens of Thanksgiving dinner baskets to community families in need. This year we are in need of the following items to add to our baskets: corn bread mix, stuffing, powdered potatoes, French fried onions, gravy, pie crust and canned pumpkin. We do not need any canned vegetables at this time. Grocery store gift cards are always welcome and are especially helpful for families with different dietary needs.
The Haddam Food Bank and Clothing Closet are open Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., as well as Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment.
