The Haddam Sustainability Committee is pleased to announce we will be holding our second annual shredding event on May 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. We will be located at the Haddam Community Center on Candlewood Hill Road. You will see us across from the Gazebo in the center of town.
A $5 per box donation is suggested. All money raised will go directly to Haddam Social Services.
Last year we raised over $1200 and shredded over 5000 lbs. of paper. Let’s see if we can beat that! Even if the paper does not contain personal information, it is a great way to remove it from regular single-stream recycling.
This year we are lucky to be joined by the Haddam Killingworth High School Girls lacrosse team. They will have a table set up with baked goods.
