(June 8, 2023) — The following programs serviced the community during May of 2023. Please note: Social Services report includes totals for the Municipal Agent.
Senior and Social Services
Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced a total of sixty adults and fifteen children; in addition to food, Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced one family with a gift card to local restaurants and/or grocery stores in town.
Haddam Emergency Fuel Bank serviced one family for fuel assistance:
- Oil, 1- Electricity, 0- Pellets, 0- Propane
Haddam Senior & Social Services serviced six individuals with paperwork assistance.
Haddam Social Services/Clothing Bank serviced forty-five people with clothing.
Haddam Social Services did no wellness checks during May 2023.
Senior Van
The Senior Van serviced a total of thirty-one medical appointments for the month of May 2023 and had an average of five seniors attending the weekly shopping trip in May 2023.
Haddam Senior Center
Open thirteen days during the month of May.
The Haddam Senior Center distributed 109 CRT meals for the month of May 2023, and had 223 visitors at the Senior Center. There were twenty-nine people for the pizza and a movie event, and ten-fourteen people attended the mobility class each week.
