Haddam & Killingworth Graduates at Colleges Across the Country

On May 26, 2019, Sophie Martin of Higganum earned a BA degree in History from Wesleyan University.

During Commencement ceremonies on May 20, 2019, Lehigh University conferred 1,058 Bachelor’s degrees, 339 Master’s degrees, and 47 Doctoral degrees. Of the nearly 1,500 graduates, degree recipients came from 44 states and 61 countries and majored in 99 different disciplines. Congratulations to these graduates from your area!

  • Tristan Stritzel of Killingworth with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics degree with a major in Accounting
  • Robert Tischbein of Killingworth with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree

St. Michael’s College:

  • David Baird of Higganum graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History.

On, Saturday, May 11, 2019, Missy Kubacka of Higganum, graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.

On Friday, May 24, 2019, Isabella Brown graduated cum laude from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science in Business.

On June 4, 2019,  Kyle Cook, of Higganum, was named to the Dean’s List at Tufts University for the Spring 2019 semester. Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

Cathrina Kothman, of Killingworth, graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in music as Susquehanna University closed its 161st academic year with commencement exercises on May 15, 2019. A 2015 graduate of Haddam-Killingworth High School, she is the daughter of Tom and Riana Kothman.

Robin Baldwin of Killingworth graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Theatre Arts from Clark University on May 19, 2019.

Haili Stevenson graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Alabama.

At Connecticut College, Jenna Berloni received Commencement Honors in Human Development. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts.

Danielle Roman, of Killingworth, graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.

On Thursday, May 30, 2019, Laura Schneider received an Award for Academic Excellence from Middlesex Community College. This award is given to graduating students who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 4.00 and have completed 50% of their requirements at Middlesex. On May 3, Middlesex Community College hosted its annual Academic Awards Night to recognize 24 students for high achievement in their academic programs. One of the academic award recipients was Laura Schneider, in the School of Arts, New Media, Humanities, & Social Science. Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society also inducted Laura Schneider.

(June 11, 2019) —  Lasell College announced today students named to the Dean’s List for their academic accomplishments in the Spring 2019 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher: Emma Velez of Killingworth.
