The Haddam Historical Society is thrilled to announce that its 2022 Scholarship was presented to Ryan James Thompson, son of Shelley Anne and Thomas B. Thompson of Higganum. The $500 scholarship award was based upon scholastic standing, contribution to school, community activities and interest in history.
Scholarship Chairperson, Susann Costa noted that this is the 10th annual scholarship award and that the society is delighted to be able to help support the continued education of one of our community’s deserving students and advocate for the importance of history both locally and globally.
