Morgan High School brought their undefeated soccer record to Haddam-Killingworth High School on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021.
Eight minutes into the game, Morgan’s Eve Gardner scored to put Morgan up 1-0. The score would remain through the first half. In the second half, the Cougars showed who they are, putting more pressure on the Morgan and getting more scoring opportunities. Fifteen minutes into the second half, Leah Chester passed to Hadley Commerford to tie the score at 1-1.
Both teams provided a good battle having to give up to clock, as time rant out.
In goal for HK was Brianna Nugent, who made seven saves. Morgan had Angelina Comiskey in goal who made 10 saves.
HK moves to a record of 6-4-3 and Morgan moves to 9-0-5.
