Chip is ready for his close up OR big step – to a wonderful foster – or forever! – Home!
Chip an absolutely beautiful 15 month old bully breed mix that came into rescue after he was saved from a less than ideal situation. This poor boy has been through so much, between livings in misery for almost the whole first year of his life; this boy had emergency surgery that ultimately saved his life shortly after coming into rescue due to previous care before coming to Furry Friends.
After all of his hurdles, and spending some time with a foster-based trainer, this boy is finally ready to start the life he so very much deserves. Chip is initially a bit shy around new people, but warms up very quickly! Once he’s comfortable this boy is full of puppy energy! He would benefit from an active, bully breed savvy family that can help burn off his energy.
Chip is a very smart boy.  He knows sit, down, stay, & paw! He is also crate trained & house broken! Chip would love if his new family can continue to work on his training & exposing to him the outside world that he is finally getting to live in!
He has a very sensitive side, so he needs a family who focuses on primarily positive reinforcement based training so he can continue to have exciting experiences!
Chip is working on his manners around other dogs, he does well walking with them, but for now would likely do best as the only dog in the home. He is a bit too much for feline friends or small children! Chip would make an amazing addition to a home with older children or an adult home!
