Navy veteran and State Representative Mike France has served his local community since retiring following 20 years of active-duty service in the United States Navy.
France started as an enlisted on submarines and ultimately finished his distinguished career at SupShip Groton and continues to serve our nation as a defense contractor for Progeny Systems.
Why I am running: Nancy Pelosi playing politics in the distribution of COVID relief was the last straw for Mike France, who has watched conditions continue to deteriorate in Eastern Connecticut over the past decade.
Mike decided that his long career in public service was not over and that the people of Eastern Connecticut deserved more than partisan representation. Connecticut’s Second Congressional District needs someone who will represent their values and put the district ahead of Pelosi’s Policies.
Mike is proud to be endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police and, if elected, will focus on increasing jobs for Connecticut, lowering energy costs and securing our border to stop the deadly flow of street drugs fueling our opioid epidemic.
