Connecticut River Artisans Cooperative Announces Artist of the Month for July, Cheryl Graney

By Linda Cave.
(June 27, 2021)While visiting San Diego, in 2007, Cheryl Graney walked into a polymer clay artist’s working studio.  A long-standing passion, was born. Cheryl has worked in this medium for the past 14 years.  She was captivated by the limitless possibilities of the medium.  Using polymer clay, Cheryl became captivated by the colors, patterns and textures that can be created.  She discovered that bakeable clay, when stored properly can be used in its entirety.  That is, scraps from the one project can become the inspiration for the next.

Cheryl is a yoga instructor and creates whimsical “yoga frogs”.  Her work also reflects her love for animals she has a clay menagerie which should not be missed.  She has copyrighted her “feather in your cap” covered pens.

If you think this artist works I only one medium, you would certainly be incorrect.  She recently diversified and created an essential oil-infused line of creams and scrubs.  In addition to her amazing lavender and citrus line, she has created a special “ocean/sea” line especially for her reception.

Cheryl’s reception will take place on _Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm_.  Many of our artisans will be there to spend time with our guests.  As always, we will have refreshments, wine and soft drinks.  We look forward to seeing our old friends, as well as, making new friends.  You will enjoy Cheryl’s beautiful work which will be discounted on that day.
