(April 25, 2022) — The Shoreline Conference Boys Tennis match played at Old Lyme today was tied 3-3 with the #3 singles match still on the courts. The Cougars Senior Co-Captain Joey Mercier had won the first set and found himself down 1-3 in the second set to Old Lyme’s Andy Sicuranza. Mercier leveled the match at 3 all and forged ahead to a 4-3 lead. Sicuranza tied the match again before Mercier held his service and broke his opponent for the win. Gus Luzietti, playing singles for the second time this season won at #4 singles for the Cougars.
