Mask Giveaway on October 5, 2020
Stop by the bus shelter at the Old Saybrook Train Station for a free cloth mask, courtesy of 9 Town Transit and the CT Department of Transportation. We’ll be there 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. -5 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2020.
Transportation Funding
There’s still time to comment on the 2021 Statewide Transportation Improvement program. It’s a document that includes all transportation projects to be funded in the next 4 years with federal funds, which fund services like ours. Click here to learn more and comment.
Fare Collection Returns Nov. 1
Fare collection and front door boarding will resume on all services on November 1st. Passes will be available for purchase at area Stop & Shop locations beginning October 15th. Mobile tickets are available for purchase now at www.9towntransit.com or in the Token Transit app.
Please have your cash fare, ticket or pass available beginning November 1, 2020.

We now offer 1 and 5 day passes only in our new mobile ticketing app, Token Transit. 1 day passes are just $3.50, the cost of two trips, and 5 day passes are only $14.
