Haddam: Extreme Heat Warning

From Haddam and Killingworth Emergency Management Departments
(July 19, 2020) — Take precautions during the extreme heat forecasted in the days ahead.
Please take measures to keep your home cool, inform friends and family of your plans during the heatwave, avoid strenuous activity, drink plenty of fluids, and check on others.
Due to the pandemic, our usual cooling centers are not immediately available for use or the capacity has been significantly reduced.
If you need routine assistance in finding cooling locations or other resources outside of normal business hours, please call 2-1-1.
As always, if you have an emergency, call 9-1-1.  Thank you.
