Sundays in Lent (March 1 – April 5)

  • 9:30 a.m. Sunday Services in March will be at First Congregational Church of Haddam; April Services will be at Higganum Congregational Church (March 15: Experience the Refreshment of Water; March 22: And the Healing of Light; March 29: Seek Connection with God’s Love; April 5: and Join in the Expectation of Change)

Wednesdays in Lent (March 4 – April 8)

  • 12:00 noon – prayer in the Memorial Garden of Higganum Congregational Church

Thursdays in Lent (March 5 – April 9) 

  • 6:00 p.m. Congregational Church of Killingworth will host suppers, followed by services at 7:00 p.m. Suppers are open to everyone at no charge.   • 7:00-8:30 p.m. “Ask a Chaplain” at Higganum Congregational Church. Retired Director of Religious Ministries at Yale New Haven Hospital, Rev.   • 6:00 p.m. Living Stations of the Cross – Teens in Action reenact events of Good Friday, including crucifixion, death, and burial in tomb – in church and on church grounds – St. Lawrence Catholic Church

  • 9:30 a.m. Intergenerational Service at Higganum Congregational Church with Palms and Communion will transition into a second-hour program, “A Visit to Ancient Jerusalem,” a hands-on learning experience of Bible times that will include breakfast, crafts, and music.
  • 10:00 a.m. Palm Sunday Service – Emmanuel Episcopal Church
  • 10:00 a.m. Service with palm distribution — Haddam Neck Congregational Church
  • 10:00 a.m. Palm Sunday Worship – Valley Bible Evangelical Free Church
  • 10:00 a.m. Palm Sunday worship. Celebrate with us Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Our children will form a procession with palm branches. After worship, be sure to enjoy a delicious brunch prepared by our Deacons – Congregational Church of Killingworth
