In May 2020 the Haddam Neck Fair was cancelled for this year, as were most of the other major agricultural fairs in Connecticut. None the less, the Haddam Neck Fair Association is publishing a fair book this year for “The Fair That Wasn’t” in order to maintain continuity. The 2020 fair book will feature a historic timeline over the Fair’s 109 years, interviews with volunteers who have spent years working at the Fair and many historical items of interest, including photos.
Although the Fair was cancelled this year, the grounds are being maintained and work nights, scheduled on Wednesdays, are being held and projects are being completed.
We expect the fair books to arrive from the printer during the week of August 31st and they will be available at the Haddam Town Hall.
