Fly Over at P&W 5/15/19

Six WWII vintage aircraft flew over the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft plants in Middletown and East Hartford, CT near midday on May 15th, 2019.  These planes had Pratt & Whitney engines and are headed to New Hampshire and then on to France to participate in the ceremonies marking the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944.  Photos are courtesy of Jeff Ogilvie and Anthony Giamei.  Due to the low hanging clouds, the planes flew by at low altitude and the roar of the engines were thrilling to the many employees who stepped out for a close view of the fly-by.
